The UAB Institute of Law and Technology (IDT-UAB) is a research center that brings together researchers from different disciplines to focus on new approaches to law and technology (L&T). The Institute aims at promoting and furthering the development of L&T related issues from an interdisciplinary perspective. The areas of research include law and artificial intelligence, pragmatics, discourse analysis, legal culture and judicial studies, multimedia and law, alternative dispute resolution (ADR) and online dispute resolution (ODR), the semantic web, legal and professional ontologies, and legal issues related to technological and biotechological advances.
